Write down exact product, amount, number of sessions, consultation fee, follow-up, expiration, and total before comparing two aesthetic specials. A low headline number alone is not a treatment plan.
Translate the price unit
The Golden Touch flyer uses different units: Botox per unit, DermaPen per session, and several injectables with single headline prices whose included quantity is not stated. Ask each practice to quote the same scope before deciding which offer costs less.
- Per unit: multiply only after a clinician proposes a dose.
- Per session: ask how many sessions might be discussed.
- Per syringe or vial: confirm size, product, and extra fees.
- Flat price: ask what happens if a plan needs more or less product.
Check terms and clinical fit
Ask whether the offer remains valid, whether it applies only to new patients, whether consultation or deposit is separate, and who decides suitability. A medically inappropriate treatment does not become appropriate because it is discounted. Ask about alternatives, including no treatment.
Compare provider, not just promotion
In Texas, cosmetic injections are medical procedures. Get the clinician's name and role, applicable medical oversight, product patient information, and emergency plan. The FDA advises consumers to use appropriately licensed, trained providers for injectable products and to avoid direct-to-consumer filler sales.
Use a simple decision sheet
Put offers in two columns and fill in product, quantity, estimated total, provider credentials, follow-up, complication route, and cancellation terms. If a field remains blank, ask before paying a deposit. A good comparison stays clear after the marketing language is removed.
A five-line worksheet
For each offer, write the service and exact product; the included unit, amount, or session; the expected number of visits; all fees and deposit terms; and follow-up or urgent-care access. Then calculate the current estimated total for the plan a clinician proposes. Leave an item blank if the office has not answered it. Blank fields are useful: they show where the comparison is still uncertain. Keep the flyer or screenshot with a date, since promotions may change and an undated advertisement does not establish today's terms.
Make the call efficient
Explain the concern you want assessed and ask whether the advertised service is currently offered. Then ask about the consultation, who performs it, what the special includes, whether the price is per unit or session, and whether a written total will be given before treatment. Ask for the product name when a specific injectable is proposed. Do not accept a quote as a clinical recommendation; the provider must assess whether treatment is appropriate. If the answers are vague, a consultation can be used to gather information without committing to the procedure.
- Confirm the offer date and availability.
- Ask for the total, not only the headline.
- Clarify follow-up and cancellation terms.
